Motawi Tileworks

Nawal Motawi is the owner and artistic director for Motawi Tiles. She founded the company in 1992 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and has built the company through trial and error. 

Today Motawi tiles are known for their American designs, inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau, and Midcentury Modern aesthetics.
